Con-Cor first introduced our famous "N" PA-1 in 1968. It became one of the industry standards in the new "N" scale which was just starting to grow in popularity. For many years the name Con-Cor and "N" PA-1 were linked together. In celebration of our company’s 40th Anniversary, we are re-tooling our famous "N" PA-1 to 2003 standards.

The new model has a flywheel drive,built in PC board for ease of conversion to DCC. A matching "PB-1" unit with a SoundTraxx DCC SOUND UNIT is also now available.

We have been flattered that the popularity of ourfamous "N" PA-1 units have led other manufacturers to copy our ideas and also come out with their versions of the "N" PA-1. However, our new version will leapfrog the other units by having our new "N" PA-1 come DCC friendly,making it very easy to install a DCC decoder. PLUS, a "B" unit with a factory-installed sound system is available. (Sound unit made for us by SoundTraxx.)

Imagine it now, those PA-1’s you have always loved working around your layout making real diesel locomotive sounds!
