Plastic Locomotive Kits
Fun to build 'HO' scale models from yesteryear
with these snap together, no glue required kits. Plastic display
track and decals included. This is a kit and does require painting
as well as a the use of some common hobby bench tools.
The New York Central’s J3a’s
are perhaps the most famous of all the passenger locomotives.
It was the standard against which other locomotives were designed
and built. Old #5405 was in use by the New York Central
from 1937 into the 1950’s. This
HO gauge model in 13 “long, (33cm) including the tender.
The Union Pacific
'Big Boy' is a legend in its own right. One of the mightiest
and largest locomtives ever made, they were built to pull high
tonnage trains through the Wahsatch Mountains between Utah and
the west coast. This 'HO' gauge model is over 18 inches long,
(46cm) including the tender.
Realistic details include wheels, coal
and cab interior. Its molded in color and includes decal’s
and tracks for display. May be painted to match photo
shown above or you can use the paint scheme from the box cover.
